While learning to play the bagpipes well is a difficult task, it is by no means impossible, especially for those who can play other instruments.
To help foster an interest and love for the music, the City of Chattanooga Pipe Band offers bagpipe or highland drumming instruction to people of any skill level.
Join the Band
The City of Chattanooga Pipe Band is a competition band meant for those who have mastered the basic fundamentals of their instrument and have a good grasp of the Scottish idiom.
The band has some of the best musicians in the Southeast and takes the business of membership very seriously. This is a primary reason that we have been at the very top of our grade level in the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association (EUSPBA) for the better part of a decade.
If you have the drive and motivation to work hard and practice often, we would love have you as a member of the band.
